We started off the day by visiting an open air market, not too far from the dorm, where we each bought a little food to share with the group. I was a little less adventurous and bought some apricots and sausage, but I was still pretty proud of myself for at least trying to purchase my food using French. I wouldn't say I succeeded, but I tried at least.
After making our purchases, we walked down to the Seine for our little potluck. We tried too many foods to count, from fish to apricots to figs to pastries to candy. We had a lot. But the eating didn't stop there. After leaving the Seine, we wandered to a variety of specialty shops, including a tea shop, a chocolate shop, a cream puff shop, and Laduree. Not only was Laduree my favorite because it is apparently in Gossip Girl (Sorry, I've only watched season 1.), but also because we ate so many delicious macaroons. I am a big fan of macaroons.

Until next time and au revoir. M
