After our day of visiting the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, etc., we were settling back into our dorms, our feet in pain, and our faces (at least mine, anyway) slightly burnt. We were pretty tired. Lo and behold, an alarm begins to screech from our hallway. A fire alarm. At 11 at night. Thankfully, although the firemen paid us a visit and perhaps hosed down the fourth floor, it wasn't that big of a problem, and we were able to reenter our building after about 45 minutes.
That's right.
No wifi.
Now I am not dedicating this post to complaining about not having wifi. We need wifi to message and call our families and to do our school work, but I won't complain. So far, I have liked our dorms rather well and I'm not going to complain. Instead, I am going to just quickly express our group's newfound love for France's version of McDonald's, the Quick. The best part about the Quick? It has wifi. I won't say too much about it, but I highly recommend it.
Until next time and au revoir. M
